First time visiting this fantastic pub and was very impressed. The staff are wonderful and the food is absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone who is in the area. The other bonus is most of the menu can be had as gluten free and the staff were very knowledgeable regarding the health implications around dietary intolerances which put my daughter really at ease as not many places seem to care so much. During our journey to Lynton, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant and decided to give it a try on our way back. The servers were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. I genuinely have to say, those were the best ribs I’ve had in my two years here; they truly captured my heart. It was a delightful surprise that we'll always remember.

The food at The Depot was absolutely top notch — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Customer service was equally impressive; the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely brilliant. I’d been dropping hints to my friends for days about trying this place out, and we finally got the chance — funnily enough, because no other restaurants could accommodate 14 people on short notice. Lucky us! They even cater for dogs, which was a nice touch — and despite being dog-friendly, it never disrupted the dining experience. Add in ample parking and you’ve got the recipe for a smooth, satisfying visit. Highly recommended!
I have just returned from an evening at The Depot. I went there with my family and our well behaved dog. Greeted by Ben the Asst Manager with extremely friendly welcome, a bowl of water for the dog and a pint of Guinness. We had a few drinks before dinner, before being shown to our table. Great menu with good selection of specials. We never had to ask for anything. The service was outstanding, as was the quality of the food. I was really impressed tonight - a great place, with superb quality beers, great food and outstanding friendly service 10/10
Came here on way back from Woolacombe. Really incredible roast, stunning cornucopia of food. Pizza was also nice, like a slightly more flavoursome dominos, but honestly the roast my child and partner had was what I'd have if going again, very nice, great gravy, superb meat. Friendly staff and nice family atmosphere, clean, everything was enjoyable. Recommended
I went there as part of a pre-ordered breakfast group and it was mainly us as it was a very large group for 10 am on a Sunday. They got the orders right, but was a little chaotic delivering drinks and food to right people as we were spread out but we all got what we wanted. Food and drinks were very tasty. I had a pot of tea and fuel tilt breakfast as pictured. Would definitely go back if in the area. Toilets clean and places to park.
An American style restaurant and food, but there are also dishes like Italian style pasta and tacos and of course vegan options. Very kind staff and dogs are welcome.
